    How to use
    1. Start by disinfecting both your hands and your client’s hands. Wear gloves. Assess the condition of the nails to ensure there are no contraindications for the service.
    2. Gently push back the cuticles using a cuticle pusher or orange stick. If necessary, use a Staleks e-file bit to remove excess cuticles and tidy the nail plate.
    3. Lightly matt the natural nail using a 150 or 180 grit buffer. Ensure the surface is smooth and even. Remove all dust with a soft brush.
    4. Cleanse the nails using a lint-free wipe soaked in an alcohol-based nail prep solution to remove all oils and debris.
    5. Apply Dolla Nails Pro PH Bond to the natural nail to balance pH and promote adhesion. If working on oily or problem-prone nails, apply Dolla Nails Pro Primer sparingly, avoiding the skin and cuticle area.
    6. Select the correct size Soft Gel Tip for each nail, ensuring it fits sidewall to sidewall without force. If needed, slightly refine the edges for a perfect fit.
    7. Apply a thin, even layer of Dolla Nails Pro Rubber Base Coat to the natural nail and cure for 30 seconds under an LED lamp.
    8. Cover the inner surface of the nail tip’s contact area with Dolla Nails Pro Rubber Base Coat.
    9. Apply the tip to the natural nail by placing it at the cuticle area and pressing it down gently towards the free edge, allowing the base to glide smoothly along the nail plate. This technique helps prevent air bubbles and ensures a flush, secure fit. Hold in place and flash cure under an LED lamp for 10-15 seconds.
    10. Once all tips are applied, cure the full hand under an LED lamp for 60 seconds to fully secure the tips.
    11. Lightly buff the surface of the tips to remove shine and refine shape if needed. Remove dust and cleanse again with a prep solution.
    12. Continue with gel polish or design of your choice, following standard gel polish steps: two thin coats, each cured for 30-60 seconds depending on pigment, followed by your preferred top coat.
    13. Finish the service with cuticle oil and hand cream. For an extra glossy finish, gently buff the top with a dry cotton pad.

    IMPORTANT:

    • For quick and easy flash curing during placement, a compact or handheld LED light can be especially useful.
    • If you can’t find an exact size match for the nail tip, it’s better to choose a slightly larger one and gently file the sidewalls to fit the natural nail perfectly.
    • As an alternative to applying Rubber Base inside the tip, you can apply a thin layer directly to the nail plate. Then, press the tip on using a gentle rocking motion from the cuticle to the free edge before curing under the lamp.
    • Be cautious with prep solutions: Some nail cleansers or prep products contain strong solvents, like acetone or similar ingredients, which can soften or dull the surface of gel tips. To maintain the integrity and durability of the tips, avoid wiping them with such solutions before application.

HOW DO YOU REMOVE GEL NAIL TIPS?

There are several effective ways to remove soft gel tips, and the best method often depends on the service performed.

    1. Begin by disinfecting both your hands and your client’s. Assess the nails for any signs of damage or lifting.
    2. Use a nail extension cutter or tip cutter to reduce the length of the soft gel tips.
    3. Using an e-file, gently file down the product in controlled layers until you are close to the natural nail. Be careful not to overfile or create heat spikes.
    4. Any residual product on the nail plate can be softened using an acetone-based soak-off solution. Soak a lint-free pad, apply it with foil or soak-off clips, and allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes.
    5. After soaking, use a wooden cuticle stick or cuticle pusher to gently remove the remaining product without applying pressure to the natural nail.
    6. If needed, lightly buff the surface with a 180 grit buffer to smooth and finish the nail.
    7. Complete the treatment with a nourishing cuticle oil and hand cream.
